I have used Turbo Tax for many years. I like the support that is available if needed. Through the years I have convinced family and friends that it is the best to use. Thanks to Turbo Tax, my children all get refunds.

Why so many extra forms are printed?

I used the help screen many times and at times answer became more confusing. When I printed forms I had many forms that printed that did not have any data entered into them. Waste of paper and time.
What's great about it: I had very few problems using TurboTax
What's not so great: Word/term definations are sometimes confusing.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

The Softwae I love to hate . . .

Language in the category questions does not always match that on the form when considering deductions. "Miscellaneous," "other," etc.
I want the extension for state filing at the BEGINNING of completing the form, not at the end of the downloaded state form.
Sending the entire federal return with the state form is not required. Only Schedule A is required.
I would like "Turbo Tax" added to the "self-prepared" designation.
What's great about it: Covers every topic I need at this time.
What's not so great: Language discrepancies, state extension form, state forms filed

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and I will continue to use it to file my income tax return.
What's great about it: TurboTax was easy to use. The program guided me through the entire process by asking about the tax year.
What's not so great: I had no problems completing my tax return.

Smple to Use

We have a relatively simple federal and state return since we are both retired. TurboTax is easy to use and walks you through the entire process. I had a question regarding whether a 1099-R form was a qualifing or non-qualifing retirement plan so when I called support I was on hold for about 50 minutes till I got through to an agent, who btw, was extremely helpful. I realize that waiting until April 12 to get started is quite late and should have expected a long wait. We have been using TurboTax for over 10 years and are very satisfied with it.
What's great about it: Loads easily, walks you through each possible step, pretty self-explanatory
What's not so great: Nothing worth noting.

We have used Turbo Tax for many years.. You have never let us down with the quick, efficient, and professional way the process works.
What's great about it: Ease of completing the returns
What's not so great: Not your fault - Had to pay
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
