love it how easy and quick it is. I like that it rechecks your work multiple times and gives you options to fix things and go back ans save them and keep continue the work another day.
What's great about it: walk you all the way
What's not so great: I can't think of any at the moment

What's great about it: Offers a clear step by step process and seems to have a good alert system when things are not done properly
What's not so great: There is just too much unexplained nonsense in the tax code.

Confident in TurboTax

I've had years when my taxes were really complicated, some that were relatively simple, and now I'm getting back into a stage where I haven't had to address the things I do now. TurboTax makes it easy for a very busy retired person to sit down, read the instructions and get those taxes done!
I appreciate this product very much!
What's great about it: I've used it for years and never had a problem. I'm confident that my returns are correct thru clear instructions.
What's not so great: It seems to take longer every year. The govt asks too many questions!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Pain Relief for Tax Season!

The Deluxe version is very impressive in its functionality and user friendliness! Intuit has clearly put a lot of thought, time and effort into the development of their product. I did my taxes with ease and confidence with Turbo Tax, and saved a lot of money along the way! Thanks Intuit!
What's great about it: Extremely easy to use. Download of data from many financial institutions is huge time saver!
What's not so great: "Jump-to-Link" function was not working, but only a minor inconvenience.

Great Way to Do Taxes

Best way to do taxes. Asks all the questions, fills out the forms, makes the math correct, and submits the taxes, both state and federal. All the information you need is readily available. Most taxes are pretty straight forward and you just answer the questions. I would like to see more data fill on a single page. Too much paging down (I have many charitable donations to many groups) and several pages deep. It would seem that you could manage all this with check boxes across a page and use all the page. Still, I have been using this product for over 20 years. It is wonderful. I would not change. Thanks.
What's great about it: Easy to use, very comprehensive
What's not so great: Too spread out, make more data entry on one page.

Great. Getting out of some screens is not intuativ

With the small exception of finding myself lost in some screens this program is the greatest.

Appreciate the guided approach, but it would be nice to see a submenu of options so I don't have to go through 300 steps if I decide to change my SEP IRA amount at the last minute.
Patronizing on things that I would like to know, lacks sufficient detail to understand some of the inputs.
What's great about it: Better than paper forms
What's not so great: Getting to a specific place is a horror
