we have been using turbo tax for about 8-10 years. I really dont understand why people pay sooo much for someone else to do their taxes. All you have to do is have all the information you would of gathered for the tax people and sit down at your computer down load turbo tax and that is it!!! they will go step by step thru everything and if you want to go faster you can. it is built for everyone.
What's great about it: with turbo tax everything is so easy! If I forgot something they remember for me.
What's not so great: i have no cons i like everything
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy and accurate way to do taxes

I have filed using turbotax for over 20 years. Never had an issue. Best value.
What's great about it: Easy to understand. Give you your maximum return without the time or fees at a tax prep firm.
What's not so great: Still have to pay taxes.

Improvement

I would like to be able to print copies of the forms shown on-line that compare data from the previous year to the current year. If it's on the current version, I couldn't locate it.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Can't print all the compartive data that is shown on the screens.

Simple every year

I love Turbo Tax because it's easy and fast to do my taxes. Sometimes though it asks you a bunch of questions and you pull all the information together and it say you don't qualify because of income or such. Don't offer the deduction if you know in advance I don't qualify that wastes time.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions and good answers to questions
What's not so great: Some deductions shouldn't be offered based on income

I've been using this for years and keep coming back!
Spent 3 hours to start and another 2 to add stuff that I had forgotten, and to correct errors that I had made.
