Quality control is getting worse. I have been a TurboTax user for 20+ years. Debug software before release!
What's great about it: Imports last year data.
What's not so great: Updates every time I open. Fix the Bug.

It was much harder to figure out what to do than last years copy. You tried to make it better, but made it worst. I think I will look at other venders next year.
What's great about it: Translation of all the forms
What's not so great: More confusing than last year!

Great program, easy to follow but found it a little difficult when trying to enter my business income, expenses and deductions. General items such as supplies was entered in one section but a new computer had to be entered in another section.
What's great about it: I like the step-by-step system
What's not so great: Had trouble with the business section

Sometimes you find the information was not put in correctly the first time you complete the taxes. Then when you go back to correct, BEFORE filling, it is difficult finding the same portion you want to change. When reviewing, the section might not show and you have to start all over to find the portion that needs to put corrected.
What's great about it: Gave me all the information I needed to file
What's not so great: Sometimes is difficult to go back and change information
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

We moved from one state to another this past year. Turbo Tax handled the part-year returns flawlessly and easily. And it handled all of the other strange stuff well also.
What's great about it: Handles partial-year state returns flawlessly.
