Almost Perfect

Turbo tax worked great for myself, husband and dependent kids, but ran into a snag with the a my independent daughter's designation as a tax except Medicaid care provider. Had to mail her return in rather than efile.
What's great about it: Easy to use, figure out the calculations!
What's not so great: had trouble with one particuluar entry regarding health care workers that are tax except under IRS notic 2014-7
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Always the best way to do my taxes

I love Turbo Tax. So much nicer to complete this process in my own home than carting everything to the tax guy.
What's great about it: simple, helpful, fast, secure
What's not so great: It is still taxes and sometimes I do not know why I am doing what I am doing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Step by step and easy to use

TurboTax staff was very helpful ..... I was able to get a downloaded version of TurboTax once I provided information about the CD I purchased
What's great about it: Presents options to think about
What's not so great: Purchased CD and did not have CD drive.....

Program is simple to use. I just hope that every possible deduction I may qualify for was actually addressed. Tax prep professionals often ask questions that one may not think of.
