Worked great as usual

Problem 1: While using input page "Enter Business Income That's Not on a 1099 Misc," the 2015 Income or Sales input Box froze after I made an entry. I could not change it after that. My workaround was to put use the Other Income box to rectify the problem.
Problem 2: Minnesota Return, Schedule M1CR, TT put my last name in the wrong box at the top of the form (It put my First MI & Last name in the First MI Box and left the Last Name Box empty.
What's great about it: Even a tax dummy like me gets great results
What's not so great: 2 minor problems

Fast and convenient way to file your taxes

I have been using TurboTax for the past several years. The ability to pull out relevant info from prior years make your tax filing a breeze; saving you from typing in the personal info. The wizard or guided question & answer based approach guides one through the process capturing all the details. Ability to E-file is a huge plus.
What's great about it: convenient, fast, and reliable tool for filing your taxes on time

Taxes less painful

Got thru the process in a couple hours without really breaking a sweat. They know what confuses people when it comes to taxes, and they have the answers ready for you. See you again next year.
What's great about it: Guided tour of taxes made it easy
What's not so great: still have to write a check to the IRS

Necessary evil

Some questions arose from definitions of terms like Marketplace health insurance (Medicare is not). Answers were available with help.

2015 Tax Submission Success

The Pros definitely outweigh the Cons with TurboTax. Each year, I have come to rely on the accuracy and fundamentals for completing my US Annual Tax returns.
Congratulations TurboTax Team for providing a solid-performing tool.
What's great about it: Concise directions to help me file an accurate return.
What's not so great: A little troublesome relocating where I had left off when I needed to suspend working on my return.

Good bye H&R

Just finished my 2015 Taxes. Took me over 5 hours getting used to this new program. I have been using H&R Block for over 7 years but it was time to get an upgrade. Got a good refund, lots of options.
What's great about it: Well rounded program.
What's not so great: Hard to Find specific Items
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Ifound the experience mostly ppositive, but attempts to go back and change some items were quite difficult. Several times forms appeared that wer unnex=cessary and it was almost impossible to understand how to eliminate them. Returning to review previous entries often did not include the entire sequence of forms that were originally submitted.
What's great about it: Accuracy
What's not so great: Some difficult areas to use
