Slayed My Refund

Overall, I thought TurboTax was very beneficial especially since this is my first time filing for my own taxes also as a dependent. It was quick and easy no complaints!
What's great about it: i like how simple, fast , and easy it was for my first time
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Quick, Easy and Accurate

I have used TURBO TAX for many years and it only gets better year after year.

This is my third year filing with turbo tax!! I really like how easy it is. But even with less than a week to do it, I completed the entire return in just a few hours. That included adding deductions as I went along. I highly recommend turbo tax. We had always had an accountant do our taxes. The savings is tremendous.
What's great about it: I like that I can pick and choose where to move in the tax form as information comes in.
What's not so great: This year seemed more difficult. We have a Windows 10.

Thorough and Reliable

The guided experience was fairly painless. I feel confident that all the tax items were covered thoroughly. There were no left-over forms in my stack of papers. Online help was very helpful. I especially appreciated the context-relevant pop-up windows; with a print option so I could recall how or why I made certain decisions on a given tax issue.
The real life-saver was the "Ask A Tax Expert" service (free!). I was confused over some of the wording for the guide on 1099-R forms. Admittedly, it took a while before I was able to talk to an advisor on the phone, but then, "'T'is the season!" I got to talk to a "real" person, a knowledgeable CPA, who was more than eager to answer all of my questions. A very pleasant experience overall, which gave me the confidence to complete and submit my tax return.

We have been using Turbo tax since 2007. Love it asks all the questions and helps you if you don't quite understand. Love it.

I AM 90 YRS AND THE INFORMATION WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO UNDERSTAND. I HAVE USED TTX SINCE IT WAS FIRST AVAILABLE AND IT HAS BECOME ALMOST TOO CONFUSING TO UNDERSTAND. TOO MANY INSTRUCTIONS....!!!
I AM JUST THANKFUL THAT THE MATH WAS DONE FOR ME

What's not so great: THE MOST CMPLICATED FORM I HAVE EVER USED
