Ez to file.. but lots of backdoor charges

I did a multi-state return this year. Had to buy the deluxe addition to get a free state... Then I had to buy my second state. Then they wanted me to pay for audit defense (Why would i be using your program then instead of googling how to do it myself and fingering through a PDF...) Then they want you to pay extra to e-file...after buying the deluxe version for the state and paying for the other state you need.... Well done turbo tax. Well done. You did make an easy to navigate program though...
What's great about it: Easy to work the program. Step by step instructions were nice.
What's not so great: Just like any tax prep service.. there's always extra fees for something you think should come with it.

Good Program But Still Needs Improvement

Overall, this program is fairly easy to use, but, if the computer screen (e.g., a laptop screen) is too small, several buttons must be tabbed before reaching the Continue button that is not visible on the screen. Also, as mentioned above, if someone must go back to enter data not available at the time that section pops up, the program does not allow the person to skip over several sections that were already completed.
What's great about it: I liked prompts for information along with suggesting what paperwork might be needed.
What's not so great: It is hard to simply go back and enter or update information without being prompted to revisit pages already completed.

I have a MAC OS X 10.7.5 will you work next year for me? Ot do I have to buy a new computer?

Makes my life much easier

I have converted many people from spending hundreds of dollars on CPA or TAX Professionals to switch to Turbo Tax. They always say, "It's to complicated or I can't deal with all the numbers." I walk them through the first year and they always thank me and have never returned to their "Professionals" again. They love the fact that if they don't understand something someone else has likely had the same question and can easily find the answers. I have been using Turbo Tax for 7 years and will continue until I no longer have a clear enough mind to do so then I hope someone I have converted will be nice enough to do them for me.

Great Product

The location of the 1099-Misc Income moved to a different area on the form, and it confused me at first since the amounts from last years return didn't match up with this years return for comparison.
What's great about it: Easy and Thourough

A few glitches, but overall easy to use!

In the past Turbo Tax has performed great, but this year I kept having an issue where the program would stall when I hit the next button and I would have to close the entire application and re-open to continue. This happened at least 8 times one evening while working on my taxes. Otherwise the program is very user friendly!
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: program delays/stalls
