Turbo Tax Deluxe 2015

This year, 2015, went a lot better than last year because I didn't have to upgrade to a higher version finish my taxes. Everything I needed could be done by the Deluxe version I originally purchased.
What's great about it: Inexpensive, comprehensive, easy-to-use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love Turbo Tax

I used to do a paper return and haven't even considered going back to one for several years because I always get a bigger refund (because I wouldn't know about the new credits/laws and prep offices/accountants have such ridiculously high fees). I have also used other software but turbotax is by far the best. Every year my family and I use the software and love it. My only complaint is that it states that you get one free state e-file but we have never gotten it, we always have to print, sign and mail it. A bit of a hassle if you ask me but it is better than having to hand prepare the forms. I will never use an accountant or file a paper return as long as turbotax is available and so affordable.
What's great about it: Guides you through everything
What's not so great: misleading wording about the "free state return"

Turbo Tax was easy to do with each step is explain to you as you go.
What's great about it: Easy to do... like having a tax expert sitting with you.
