Great experience with Turbo Tax. I was worried about not knowing how to do my taxes since this is the first year that I have prepared my taxes without help. The process was relatively fast and was definitely easy and stress free. Thanks!
What's great about it: Fast, Easy, User Friendly, Step by Step
What's not so great: Still have to pay to E/File State Tax Return

So easy! Love it!

This year's edition of Turbo Tax was much easier than previous years. I like the learn more options. It provided the detail I needed to complete my return. Thanks for making it so easy and stress free.
What's great about it: The steps were much easier than last year's. Great improvements

Fails to Process complex issues

TurboTax for me has created more work than it has saved, or so it seems. Doing an amendment, TT recognizes the earlier return when computing the total tax due, but fails to recognize the earlier return (perhaps because it was 'mailed in') when computing AGI (doesn't show the change). It fails to process as a 1099-R entries I'm making based on an advance notice; it only allows entry of last year's 1099-R, not current year. Hence, the 1099-R processing is hosed. TT also fails to properly process a change in basis on 4797; I have numerous hand-written notes on the form to correct TT's 'square hole' errors.
What's great about it: thorough
What's not so great: Fails: trys to fit round peg in square hole

The ultimate user friendly approach to taxes

Turbo Tax is so user friendly, it's almost fun to use... almost. It's still taxes, but without the unnecessary stress. Things are explained in a way that makes the process less alienating. There are a few error messages that aren't exactly clear about what needs to be fixed, but navigating through the user friendly menus/and a detailed version of all the paperwork, made it pretty easy to find the source of the minor problem.
I highly recommend it. It makes the idea of doing your own taxes not so scary after all.
What's great about it: Simple to use. Clear explanations. visually appealing.
What's not so great: What needs to be "fixed" isn't always clear.

Reliability year after year

You have a great product that is reliable and easy to use, everyone will say things should be less expensive, but to be honest, the overwhelming convenience of having a complicated process made easy enough to do yourself, in your own time and in your own home is worth the cost. I think you could get peoples attention by not only focusing your advertising on the ease and convenience of turbotax, but it also gives you the ability to further take control of your finances.
Having said this. Many of us would be willing to pay one fee, even if its a higher fee, to get the Fed and as many States as needed and there E-Filing fees all together in a one time charge rather than a lot of small charges all over the place.
Finally, the auto import of info such as the W2 from various sources is very convenient. Continuing to improve on this and adding other origins to import this info from would be great.
You guys are doing a great job, please keep it up.

Easy Peasy!!

It couldn't have been easier to do my taxes this year. It took longer to gather all of my receipts than it did to plug them into TurboTax! Being able to e-file both Federal and State returns straight from TurboTax simultaneously was awesome. Looking forward to getting my notifications ... and my refund!
What's great about it: Wizard walks you through each section
What's not so great: more links to IRS code on each window of wizard (ie, medical expenses > eyewear expenses
