Easy to Follow

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and like the idea of being able to download the documents etc . and e file. Charitable contributions should have an option of lump sum for clothes etc dropped off at a "parking lot" location with no need to itemize. I do this several times a year and do not get receipts.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions
What's not so great: Clothes dropped at a parking lot locations should be able to put on lump sum.

Easy to use, guided or self chosen - it went over things I wouldn't have thought of that helped me lower the amount I owe this year.
What's great about it: Asked and checked things I never would've thought of for more deductions

It was very supicious and disappointed that the paying by credit card suddenly unavailable to use,i hope this is a fluke and not a business decision.

City Estimated taxes

Every year turbo tax does not seem to enter my estimated city tax payments correctly. It always comes up with an error on review asking me to enter some additional information from the previous year. What needs to be entered is not clear at all and I just enter a figure that I think is correct and the error is eliminated. The explanation for what is needed is not clear at all. No matter what I enter in the box, it does not seem to effect the taxes I owe so I don't worry about it too much. Well maybe a little since the IRS likes to audit me.
