I ran into some renewal issues on my account and made several calls, which were handled very efficiently and graciously by the tech folks helping me. Turbo Tax itself is very self explanantory and easy to follow.

Great product

A question that I feel should be in your customer service db pertaining to homestead credits could not be answered. I asked the question 4 days ago and it was not answered. It was a simple yes or no question that would pertain to all states.
What's great about it: Easy walk through of collecting data
What's not so great: One question was not answered

Easy to use!

I've used Turbo Tax for years. I also used an alternate one year, just to see if there would be a better outcome (H& R Block said they could do better-but the amounts were exactly the same). No program is perfect, but I find this one easy to use, and when you actually need to talk to someone live for a specific situation, they are there, friendly, and speak and understand English!
What's great about it: You can go directly to forms if you know what you are doing, or use the step by step guide to get everything entered.
What's not so great: If I can't efile, it shouldn't make me go back and change my efile request. It should do it automatically.

Simply TurboTax

This is the 4th year that we do Turbo Tax and we have not had any problems with it. It is simple to do and not confusing at all. We will continue to use TurboTax as we are very pleased with it.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow and keeps the running tab of what you owe and what you are getting
What's not so great: no cons

The instructions take you step by step through each section. If you think you made a mistake you can go back and change your response. But on occasion I'm still not sure how to answer a ?. During these times I can go into the help section and usually find my solution.
What's great about it: step by step instructions.
What's not so great: sometimes I still get lost
