Easy to Use

I liked using this program. However, there were a couple places that were a little confusing. When you went in to edit a page, you had to answer all the questions again, not just change the items you were updating. The program didn't always automatically save the changes. E-Filing was very easy. The program found my return from last year and entered a lot of the information. Not all of that information carried through on the year to year comparison though. Overall, happy with this program and would probably buy it again next year if the cost is comparable to other programs.
What's great about it: Easy, quick, accurate, free federal e-filing, free state return with deluxe
What's not so great: Some confusing pages

very misleading when it says includeds a free state efile. then at the end you find out to efile with the state you must pay a fee,

Best Way

I have used TurboTax for years and don't see why some of my friends continue to rely on Accountants to do their taxes. It is easy to use (especially now that my finances are much simplified from prior years, and I am in a State with no income tax). I have come to trust and rely on this program.
What's great about it: Easy, helpful, concise
What's not so great: A little more explanation of options and control of printing

I would not be able to do our tax return without a professional unless TurboTax was available; also like the download capability vs. buying boxed software.
What's great about it: Guidance through all sections of return; good help items
What's not so great: Sections not in order expected

What's great about it: Good sidebar explanations. Easy to understand instructions.
What's not so great: Earlier review opportunity. Don't understand need to keep asking about state file in states that don't have income tax.

I used to own a business, so I used a professional acct., but decided to try Turbo Tax, after being referred by people. I can't tell you the final, as my return has been rejected several times, for seemingly small details, like IRS pins. Things that should have been addressed by the software during the information gathering .
What's great about it: Easy to use...user friendly
What's not so great: Returns rejected several times for errors that should have been caught in the process of filing
