It Doesn't Get Any Easier Than This

It really doesn't get any easier than TurboTax. Especially if you have used it for the past year's tax prep. It gathers all the info you have previously entered, reaches out to get your W-2s and saves you a bunch of typing right from the start. If you have not used it before, you set it up, it asks you questions and explains the reasons for the questions. If you don't know the answer or do not understand what is required, it will show you a sample of the form from which you should be obtaining the info. You can receive answers to any questions about a section in one of many ways. We have been a TurboTax user for many years and we keep coming back because of the great customer experience.
What's great about it: ease of use, detailed explainations, shows forms that it asks questions about
What's not so great: state e-file is too expensive

Easy to Use!

Turbo Tax got nearly the exact refund amount as our "paid" CPA 3 years in a row. When he "misplaced" our return a couple of years ago, and used the info I had saved to my computer on Turbo Tax to file our return, we decided it was time to do it ourselves!

used turbo tax 3 years. keeping my fixed income $$. your profit in the product is enough. forcing to pay more to e-file state return is unnecessary..,....discontinue being greedy.

Turbo Tax Deluxe 2015

I have used Turbo Tax software for the past 7 or 8 years now and wouldn't think of using anything else. The software guides me through the process step by step and if I don't understand what is being asked I can check the reference boxes for clarification.
Each year the software is a bit different but has always gotten better and easier to use. Again, I wouldn't think of using any other software out there.
What's great about it: Transfer of last years info and completion of forms
What's not so great: Not all definitions clearly stated but helpful

Many years using Turbo Tax and I'm again very impressed with this product.
What's great about it: Guide Me routines are perfect
What's not so great: Couldn't find a deduction amount for a donated item to a local charity (wheel barrow).

Been using TurboTax for many yrs.Find it very simple, especially this yr with death of hubby mid 2015. Reminds me of a lot of deductions,I might otherwise miss.Ty. Really wish doing Simplified method to determine exact taxable amount of CSA 1099-R retirement was easier to find,first time,it seems more complicated.
What's great about it: generally simple entry format
What's not so great: replica simplified method forms cant be found ????
