Easier every year!

This year it seemed easier to manage all the details. Turbo-Tax is very clear about each step. I didn't stop to scratch my head and wonder how to proceed.
What's great about it: No dead-ends when going through the steps
What's not so great: Can't think of any

Tax Prep for Dummies...and PhDs

I've been using TurboTax for more than a decade and I can't imagine software making tax preparation any easier. If you keep accurate records on a program like Quicken and print out your tax reports at the end of the year, there's no reason that you shouldn't be able to do your return in the time it takes to watch a feature film. The only time-consuming thing is listing your individual charitable deductions, but even that isn't difficult if you keep records handy. I also like the fact that the software checks everything over before you file, making sure that you haven't made any mistakes; It really makes you feel confident. I've always been pleased with this product and will continue to use it in the future.
What's great about it: Interactive and simple to use
What's not so great: Doesn't make coffee

Solid trust

I have often used Turbo tax and have found it to be easily followed though sometimes the tax code takes a lot of entries which in the long run contribute nothing to your refund.
What's great about it: straight forward directions
What's not so great: seems like a long path

Quick and Easy

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years to prepare my returns, and find it quick and easy to use. I only have 2 issues with it- I don't like the attempts to sell additional services built in, with the solicitations for state preparation especially annoying since no return is required by my state. Also, the retailer where I purchased my software does not display the Federal Only version- I only knew it was available via their web site. That's a not so nice attempt to generate a few extra dollars revenue from an unsuspecting customer.
What's great about it: Each step is self-explanatory and easy to follow.
What's not so great: Repeated attempts to sell services, particularly state return (not required by my state)
