I was able to get everything done in about 2 hours with the deluxe edition. I will definitely be back next year! Even State taxes were easy to file.
What's great about it: easy to use, very explanatory, relatively cheap

Smooth as silk

This year seemed even easier than years past. Explanations were easy to understand and entire process went smoothly.
What's great about it: Loved the advisor for worth of charitable contributions. I would have really undervalued them myself.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good product, but in the income section questions: "On Form 1099-R, is the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box between box 7 and box 8 checked?" Then you need to select Yes or No. Well, there is no box there on our 1099-R. So there needs to be another choice, such as Other or No Box Found.

Old problems never fixed + new ones added

They still haven't fixed the problem where Charitable Deductions aren't sorted alphabetically.
Nor have they added the long-requested CSV import to Charitable Deductions.
Two new bugs this year.
1) It looped in the Review tab--kept giving me the same three screens in sequence. I had to click the File tab to get out.
2) Had the unusual situation where my estimated state tax exactly matched my estimated taxes--neither payment nor refund due. Turbo Tax acknowledged this situation; even warned me that I needed to file. But it didn't print the return for mailing.

Get that Refund!!

I really, really, really like utilizing Turbo Tax!!! I have been using the software for at least 10+ years. I have seen this software enhancements and its growth. Each year, the software has gotten much better and you can see and experince the intuitiveness as you work through completing your taxing. I like the software for making me aware of tax pitfalls/warnings, explanation and the many suggestions along with review/results of your answers. I would highly recommend the tax software to you and it will blow you away as it helps you prepare/file your taxes.
What's great about it: Easy software to navigate, utilize and file taxes
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Made it painless

I have been using Turbo Tax for 10 years now and have not received any notices from the IRS for underpayment like I was getting when I was using an expensive CPA.
