been using TT for several years now. Makes the process simple. I don't dread doing my taxes anymore.
What's great about it: super simple to use
What's not so great: can't think of one
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2015 Tax Returns

Not having to key in all the addresses for donations was very helpful. Also the detail for the donations is great.
My only problem was with uploading 2014 and I had a copy I could refer too. (It could have been user error!)
I also liked the ability to upload the W2s this year. Really saved time.

2015 was the most difficult return yet

I have used Turbotax for several years now. Before that, I did it all by hand. It is clear to me that the income tax process has become progressively more complicated. I don't believe I could do the taxes if I did not have something like Turbotax. Even with Turbotax, I am not sure if I did it right.
Turbotax is weak (defective?) on handling distributions from Roth IRA accounts.
What's great about it: Ability to quickly review and edit
What's not so great: Fiinding items that were buried deeply

Taxes made simple

This is a great product and unless your taxes are extremely complicated, you can do it yourself. I am not a computer wizard and I was able to do this with no problem!
What's great about it: Fast, easy to follow instructions, painless
What's not so great: I haven't found any in a number of years using TURBO TAX
