I've been using Turbo Tax for several years. I like how most of my information transfers over year to year. This helps so much.

Wasn't as happy

Overall, I love turbo tax. I have been using it for over 17 years. But this year I feel that it didn't get better. There were some new questions that lead to other questions that I had to discipher what was meant and how to answer. And the program didn't feel as easy to use as in the past.
What's great about it: Makes the process easier than trying to do it by hand
What's not so great: Some of the questions were difficult to answer

Easy guidance to follow

Please simplify the procedure to report the Foreign Tax Credit. In the 1099-DIV received from the brokerage firm, there is little or no information on the questions asked by your software, such as the data on line 1a of the form 1116. It took me longer to work through that area than any other section of the return

Longtime user disappointed

There are errors in your ability to hadle mulipe state returns. Income gets double reported. Tried your resorces..yes it doulbe counts was the general concensus. Whic takes me to the point of over charging for state returns...the cost s high and the software doesn't work..so maybe I'll try another product or just use your federal product..disappointed after over a decade of using turbotax.

My income is SSD and Disability Insurance I pay for the Turbor Tax and then I can not file by efile because I have ) income in Box 1 on W 2. I do not find this helpful I should be able to efile to get my return or as this year to pay.

Takes a Full Day

Excellent system, but data entry is very tedious for us senior citizens. Better than hiring an accountant, though. Took me 8 hours to get it done.
What's great about it: Excellent Prompts
What's not so great: This review "stinks" -- keeps asking for a nickname and then says that' already been used!
