World Class Tax Preparation, Made Easy

Why would anyone with at least a high school education not use Turbo Tax for all but the most complex tax situations? Turbo Tax smoothly handles the 10,000 page tax code, step by step. It gives me the legal info and tax details needed to address the common tax issues. And I learn about additional deductions as I spend time thinking through the options Turbo Tax puts in front of me. It's seldom that I have to Google info from the IRS web-site or visit a law library for legal precedent. Turbo Tax gives me most of the help I need at my fingertips.
Been using TT for 20+ years.
Most of my tax prep time is gathering the info which would be needed whether I do the taxes myself or go to a professional. And TT takes me only 2 hours ... the same time I'd spend with a professional. And I save $300 or so every year.
In summary ... the tax code is incredibly convoluted, complex, and cumbersome. But Turbo Tax has taken me readily through the complexities of many charitable contributions, small business income ("C"), home office, medical deductions, investments, home sale, etc. for many years. Would recommend it to all who wish to save several hundred dollars, better understand tax options, and feel in control of their tax situation.
What's great about it: Easy-to-use. Two hours for modestly-complex return. Saved me $350. Clear. No wasted time. Thorough. Accurate
What's not so great: No dislikes. Bugs have been worked out over the years.

I've used TurboTax for years and it continues to smoothly proceed through the more and more complex tax issues.

Quick and simple!

I've been using TurboTax for years. I love the prefill options using last years return to speed up entry of the things that don't change.
What's great about it: High confidence through methodical step-by-step look at income and deductions
What's not so great: None - can't imagine a more simple process
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Best of Breed for Years!

I've used TurboTax for many years, from the time it first came out. I have never been dissatisfied with its performance and ease of use. I am always happily surprised that I got through my taxes so quickly. Today I thought I'd get a head start on them, but suddenly found I'd completed them. It's always like that. Best of breed!
What's great about it: Intuitive with help dialog for whatever question you have
What's not so great: It seems too easy. Almost afraid I missed something

What's great about it: I have used TurboTax for many years. It fills in the basic information and lets me easily entery the new information .
What's not so great: We always want it to be cheaper

Excellent Service

My customer service representative, Sara, was extremely helpful and professional. she solved my problem almost immediately. She knew almost immediately what my problem was and walked me through the process to make the correction. I was the culprit and had made a mistake and she did not make me feel bad about it at all. It was a totally pleasant experience.
