Estimated Tax Payments

I have always allowed TurboTax to figure my estimated federal taxes for the following tax year. I have never had a problem. However, this year (2015 TY) I ended up paying a Penalty because I did pay in estimated taxes at least 100% of my previous year's tax liability or 90% of my current TY liability. I couldn't figure out WHY TurboTax didn't get this right. I should have at least paid the 100% mark of 2014's liability, but it didn't work out that way.
What's great about it: Easy, Prints out Vouchers
What's not so great: Caused me to have to pay a Penalty this year

Refund with Ease

I have used Turbo Tax for many years now. As my tax needs change; I found Turbo tax easy to use and full of information at just a click away. I will continue to use turbo tax and recommend it to all my friends/family. This year I was teaching my teenager how to file his taxes and realized just how hard things use to be.
What's great about it: Simple step by step format. Links to explainations. Audit risk and error check. Ablility to review sections.
What's not so great: none

Easy as 1.2.3. Tax Filing

I loved the step by step instructions of Turbo Tax. In less than two hours, I was given my maximum return and it was so simple. Being a repeat customer, my previous years info was automatically downloaded into my 2015 return. Customer for life!!!

Sooooo Easy!!

I've been using TurboTax for 10 years or more, and each year it seems to get easier. Even though I know how to enter everything, I still like to go through the step-by-step process. Helps me to make sure I haven't forgotten anything.
What's great about it: I can always count on this being painless, even if I do wait until the last minute every year.
What's not so great: Would prefer NOT to have to pay to e-file my state taxes!!

Easy to import previous years return, ease of use, accurate.
I kicked two numbers in the EIN from my employer and when I efiled, the IRS rejected it, went back to Turbo Tax and the program took me right to the error....easy fix!

I've been a turbo tax user, sometimes I doubt if I'm using all the functionality and understanding all the concepts, however it's easy to use, an I trust it's accurate.
What's great about it: Smooth and easy to use
What's not so great: Some definitions are not clear enough

WAAAAAY TO EASY

I use TurboTax each year. And have found it to be the best tax package. I'm a prior tax preparer, so it took me a while to get used to not seeing all the detail lines and calculations. I would still do it manually until I was certain that TurboTax gave the best results and bottom line. Now I trust it immensely.
What's great about it: Tubo Tax does it all for you
What's not so great: Dont see the tax rate sched, to verify amounts
