Arizona State Return

Arizona State Tax Form 140 is lacking in clarity in your software as it is filled out. Needed to hunt online for explanations for many sections of the form in order to answer your software choices as to which to indicate would be appropriate to my situation.
What's not so great: Need explanations and instructions for AZ form 140 included with software or explanations as you fill out tax info.

We have used Turbo Tax over 10 years. This is the first year I had a problem that took over 2 hours on the phone with Turbo Tax to figure it out. Dividends unrelated to a business were going into line 12 instead of line 21 which resulted in an additional tax of $800 to us. The simple fix that took 2 hours to figure out was the screen that asks when did you receive it? I checked 2015 and that we expected to receive it again as we have for many years. That created the direction the dividends went. Nothing on the screen let me know that I had directed these into a business. Love the program but that was a whopper!
What's great about it: Easy most of the time
What's not so great: When you know there is a mistake but you can't figure it out. This one took the 2 people plus supervisors.

Quick and easy

I've been using TurboTax for over 20 years. With the ability to import data from various sources, it makes submitting taxes easy.
What's great about it: It's very easy to following along, answer simple questions and get my taxes done with TurboTax.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

LOVE My Turbo Tax

I absolutely love my TurboTax. It is so easy to use. However, this year there was confusion in the Retirement Income section (1099-R).
If I am receiving yearly income from my retirement account, WHY do I have to fight with it as if it was a retirement account distribution (ie: 401(k), etc)?
They are NOT the same.
Otherwise, Turbo Tax is PERFECT!
(I have taken the H&R Block tax course, and that was informative (but that was long before computer taxes). And I tried Tax Act, and the others, and they were a waste of my money. I had to go back to the store and purchase my Turbo Tax. SO, I don't even mess with it; I go directly to Turbo Tax---ONLY.)
Oh, and I even used the CPA feature a few years ago. They were so easy.

Not being able to Print Return is HUGE.
Changes to Tax Laws not adequately explained, LIKE not being able to Deduct Costs for doing your taxes.

What's not so great: BIGGEST - Could Not Print Return. Didn't explain Law changes well enough.
