Easy to get through until the last few steps

The state is a little difficult to understand when there is money due. Still send PFC in even when you've paid on the state website?

When asked to enter long term care insurance premiums, software diverted to Sch C., info for K-1's. Could never get to proper entry point.
What's great about it: Worked 99 percent of time
What's not so great: The last one percent was a killer

Really Easy!

Overall a really great product. Most of the return was super simple, and the functionality to import W-2's directly is a huge time saver! Only negative i could possibly come up with is even though it imported my capital gains and losses directly from my brokerage, i was not able to see the transactions which would have helped me with some of my inputs.
What's great about it: step by step instructions make most of the return impossible to mess up
What's not so great: not quite as easy when it comes to capital gains, dividends, and splitting income between states
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I moved

TurboTax Delux Review

I have been using TurboTax for about 5years. it really works great for me. I was doing tax returns using the regular tax book. it was a headace. Using the TurboTax is so relaxing, it is almost fun to do tax returns. It so easy to follow... my wife is using it now.
I am very pleased with TurboTax Deluxe, I highly recommend trying it.

What's great about it: Great data transfer, great follow through instructions, great review process
What's not so great: only allowed to e-file one state return. Somewhat costly.

I think this is a good tool... I would like to see more compare side by side last year to this year screens... helps me to make sure I covered all the topics.
What's great about it: the ability to copy information from year to year makes it worth buying again
What's not so great: the signiture process for my wife on the state return... not sure i did it correctly was pretty unclear
