Thank you for Turbo .......before turbo I hated trying to figure things out. but turbo makes it easy if you can read then you can do your own taxes. Follow the instructions.

Product is user friendly but could be made quicker if the questions were easier moved forward and backward through.
What's great about it: Easier to use and efficiently answered my questions.
What's not so great: Deductions needs a quicker format.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've used Turbo Tax for years without any issues, and found the product easy to use.
This year.....Couldn't get updates to down. The 'Help' community was able to provide instructions on how to manually get the updates, but it was a hassle.

No matter what I did, I could not get the state return to download. Ended up doing it manually on paper.

I had to calculate kansas adjusted gross income to figure how much of that income actually came from Missouri (Kansas resident and wife works in MO) . Hope I did it right. You had all the numbers and should have done the calculation.

Decade review TT changes

I prefer the TT of a few years ago that had pop-up explanations as you go. Current version is all about the online version, not the download. This version on my mac certainly isn't worth the money. I think TT could offer cloud copy if efiled, retained for 3 years. Not as detailed and clear as a few years ago with brief tutorial. I had to keep going online to search for tax info about items. Q&A search not always too accurate in TT.
What's great about it: easy to enter forms, import (if you can find last year on your own).
What's not so great: bugs, does not return to where you left off, does not always remember that you even started yet, sometimes saves multip
