Great Product

I've been using TurboTax for close to two decades. It is a great product and I am a fan!
Especially helpful is the automatic importing of employer W-2 form information and brokerage 1099 information.
There are occasions where you have to go into View Forms mode to complete entries or delete entries. This year I had to manually complete Form 1095-A Health Insurance Marketplace Statement lines 3 through 15 and check the Part II box to finish the form. They were not automatically populated or included in the "interview". As always, review all forms before filing.
I would, and have, recommend TurboTax.
What's great about it: Imported data from previous years' forms and especially from institutional W-2's and 1099's, etc.
What's not so great: Occasionally does not populate all lines of some forms. E.g. 1095-A
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Got It Done

Data entry and reading over the results were easy. Using the sign in information for the previous year was a hassle. I finally just ended up opening a new account. It was quicker!
What's great about it: Help screens provided good explanations.
What's not so great: Procedure for forgotten passwords.

What's great about it: Turbo Tax is encellent and easy to use until the end
What's not so great: can't get it to print out my forms without a reader, which I don't want on this computer.

2015 Individual

I have been using TurboTax for about 10 years and with having to file multi-state, non-resident returns for many of those years makes the purchase of the software worth while. In addition, I can download earlier years versions which is great when I get a new laptop or upgrade my desktop.
One of the best features is bringing forward my prior year information which helps ensure nothing gets lost year over year.
What's great about it: Confident that all calculations are accurate
What's not so great: Having to pay for states to E-file

2015 Turbo Tax Program

I accidentally deleted all my backup 2015 tax data files after I had finished my return. Try as I might on the Intuit web site and elsewhere on the internet, I could not find the location of my tax data file .tax2015. Fortunately, I had printed hard copies previously.
Ultimately, I painstakingly re-keyed into TT2015 all the data from my hard copies.
Very, very frustrating -- Intuit needs to make this info available to users.
Would have given the program 5 stars but for this problem.
I've been a Turbo Tax user for many years.
Re questions below: I have kids but they are adult and have their own families elsewhere. Also, I am retired.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: No info about the location of my tax data file!!!
