A TIME SAVER

Have used Turbo-Tax for many years. It is relatively easy to use, and will prompt you to check any incorrect entries or miscalculations, and will refer you back to the appropriate screen. The portion for "business deductions" could be made easier to understand and simplified.
Over all, a great tool, and time saver!

What Happened?

There seems to be no way you can change errors on any of the Schedules/Worksheets...it will show it to you, but you can make no changes to anything. I made a mistake on the IN forms I originally filed but didn't catch it until I printed it out. So I started from the very beginning to AMEND both Federal and State...and made another mistake on the IN State form. Why doesn't the program allow you to make changes to your State Tax forms? It did last year...so whatever you changed really messed up the State Forms for corrections. Maybe next year, I'll try another brand...like H&R Block!
What's great about it: Federal was easy to do!
What's not so great: Indiana State was horrid!!!!

In general, the product is amazing with an incredible number of details and help sections. Seems to cover all bases.
One issue is that if you are in one section, but want to refer to a previous section, it does not seem to be great at returning to exactly where you are. I used the flag page feature for this, but that should not be necessary.
It also seems possible to skip a section that could be important.

Using TurboTax

It was easy this yer to do my taxes, all except when I made a mistake entering my cell phone number, could not correct it.
