Help to reduce payment due

Overall a good experience. Program was a great help in preparation of tax data. E filing was easy too!
What's great about it: Easy to switch to forms
What's not so great: Switch between smart sheets and forms sometimes confusing

Create pdf

I want to create a pdf of my returns only, but I could not find a way to do that without printing out another copy. A search for "pdf" produces nothing. A search for "create" does not produce anything for pdf.
This process of creating a nickname is terrible.
What's great about it: Walk through process
What's not so great: Could not create pdf only

Gets the job done

I have used this product year after year. It works for me in a very simple and easy to follow way.
What's great about it: It allows me to walk step by step through my tax forms
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Computer Freeze

During the preparation of tax return computer froze 6 or 7 times. Thought it might be my computer, but this has only happened when using TurboTax.
Necessary to restart computer to resolve.

Confusing forms

One 1099-R kept flagging a box 9a which was not on the 1099-R. Finally found the answer.
Form 3526, Line 4e, required input, which I didn't have. Finally found the answer to that problem. Took way too much of my time.
What's great about it: Most forms were very easy to fill out.
What's not so great: Kept getting alerts on two problems.

Deductions were more difficult

This year I had a difficult time using the ItsDeductible feature. In previous years the software was already on the disk and opened up right away when I was ready to assess value to charitable contributions. That was not the case this year. I had to keep backing up and retrying only to keep getting the screen requiring that I remember the exact date and price that I paid for each item. I submitted a question and the answer included a link to go to the software online. I started to enter my information there - this was very cumbersome since the online tool did not already have a list of my charities from 2014. I saved some info and went back to working on my tax return and low and behold none of the info transferred to my tax return! However, I could now access It'sDeductible (since I was still logged in online I guess - I really don't know) on my local return. This stinks! Why would you make it more difficult to use the software? Tax time is already stressful enough! Go a head and put the software back onto the disk next year. We're already paying for the info, don't make us jump hoops to get it! I don't need more stress and I'll just use another product if aggravation comes with my purchase!
What's great about it: transfered info from 2014 return easily
What's not so great: did not include It'sDeductible software on the disk
