I love this software. It's consistency and ease of use has kept me coming back for the last seven years. It has even helped me with some complex tax issues with great ease.
What's great about it: It takes you by the hand: You just need to have your records handy.
What's not so great: Very easy to use and it prompts you if there are inconsistencies.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So Easy to file!

I love using Turbo Tax every year. It transfers my data from the year prior, guides me through each section. It couldn't be easier to use.

This is my first time i filed a tax return and not having this would have just been a pain staking process. Thank you turbotax for assisting me in my time of need.

Always Good!

My only peeve is getting back to specific questions. For example. I did my daughters taxes, she didn't provide me with enough info so based on the prior year I filled in areas needing to get back to when I had more info. I needed to get to the Qualified Performance Artist switch and it was difficult to find. Found it through help. But I might suggest as a programmer, I might add, a search specific to a keyword and ask to be taken there to answer a question or update a supporting document line
What's great about it: Easy when you go from start to finish
What's not so great: Difficult to get back to specific situations
Pros: I bought or sold investments, I moved

Thankful for Turbo Tax

retired and much of my income is from 401-k. don't understand and did not see if i could take pension or monies in my bank account to put into my existing 401-k to save on taxes due. ?
What's great about it: Easy to follow process
What's not so great: had to pay this year. no cons about TT
