TurboTax is the best way to go when filing yourself. They make it easy.
What's great about it: } liked the ease of using TurboTax. I liked the way it walks you through the entire process.

Super Excellent!

I had a complicated tax situation that made me nervous, but TurboTax came through again...as it has for many years now. In under an hour I had all my taxes done and a refund of nearly $5000 thanks to credits I would never have known about.
What's great about it: Easy, Intuitive, Does all the work for you!

Turbo Tax has made doing my taxes easy for years. It is very thorough some times annoyingly so.
What's great about it: Made sure I didn't forget anything
What's not so great: Didn't like the extra charges at the end

I'm so thankful that at nearly 75 I was able to file myself for the first time.
What's great about it: All the questions that generate from previous answers
What's not so great: Entering data from cashing in an investment was difficult for me to understand.

I does a good job although I think it has got harder to understand this year than it was in passed years, may be changes in tax laws I don't know, also like I said in the pros and cons it doesn't print a top sheet for federal like it does for the state, and in years past it also printed this sheet, where to mail the forms to and not now....
What's great about it: Good soft ware
What's not so great: Does not print out a top mailing sheet for federal taxes like it did in passed years

There needs to be more information as to how to enter information. Answers to questions are difficult to understand

GREAT PROGRAM, I HAVE BEEN USING TURBOTAX FOR SEVERAL YEARS. "AS A SENIOR CITIZEN, I FEEL THE COST OF THE AZ TAX RETURN WAS VERY EXPENSIVE. YOU MIGHT WANT TO CONSIDER LOWERING THAT FEE FOR PEOPLE OVER 65. WE ARE ON LIMITED INCOMES" (THIS WAS FROM MY 86 YEAR OLD MOTHER, LIVING IN AZ. I DO HER TAXES EACH YEAR)
What's great about it: EASY TO FOLLOW
What's not so great: COST OF STATE RETURN VERY HIGH, BENEFICIARY IRA INFO RATHER CONFUSING
