Turbo Tax is Great!

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years. It makes filing your income tax so easy and you save money from not having to go to a tax advisor.
What's great about it: Easy to use, help is right at your fingertips, guide you thru steps
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Best Filing Experience Yet

Outstanding Experience filing my return this year. Although this was the first year I had to pay extra taxes, TurboTax made filing easy and had everything I needed.
Questions could be asked with the new tool, too. I was very impressed that most others had similar questions and left their records of the questions and answers for me to find.
Nice work TurboTax! I'll definitely use this again, next year!
What's great about it: Easy, Lots of Lookups
What's not so great: Had trouble finding the detailed itemization, but found it with the right click on the field

Just That Easy!

I have been using TurboTax for years. It is a perfect program for people who are impatient and do not not have a complicated financial portfolio, such as people with one home and minor deductions. The prompts are super easy to follow. If and when you get stuck, the help button takes you to a site where you can get a variety of answers to your question. I feel safe. Turbo Tax is a well known brand. Its ease and reliability make it a perfect match for me.
What's great about it: I am not tech savvy. I am not patient. I really dislike filling out forms. Turbo Tax was made for people like me.
What's not so great: Although I have not had any problems with Turbo Tax or filing, I would like more drop down windows with explanations.

Pop ups did not work well on Windows 10. The pop-up window did not come to the foreground, I had to access it via the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

don't like the state

the program will not print a copy to mail state filing unless you select it first for the federal . Very confusing as the printed copy stated that state had already been e filed. I did find the answer from the forum

What's not so great: Complicated tax items, i.e. AMT, could be explained more clearly when you have to answer a question.

Easy to use

I came back to TurboTax this year after using a different product last year. TurboTax really is the best product I have used. The price premium is worth it. The interface and interview questions of TurboTax are better than the others I have used. I wish the interface for entering stock sales was more geared more toward multiple entries. I spent a lot of time having to go through the interview questions for every trade. A spreadsheet type of entry for multiple transactions would be an improvement. Once I figured out how to download the trades from my brokerage account, things were GREAT. That really save a lot of time.
What's great about it: Interview question are good, downloading brokerage account info saves a lot of time
What's not so great: manual entry of stock trades is time consuming, wish the price for state returns was less
