Easy Return

It is a very easy product to use. Allows you to file from home, at your pace. Allows you to pause and look for information you didn't have ready. Unfortunately, it is very easy for others to use this product to file in your name.
What's great about it: Easy to file
What's not so great: It was way to easy for someone to file with my SSN last year

FIling Made Easy

I have used turbo tax for a long time. I don't remember the last time I completed the forms without the aid of this program. My adult children and their spouses also use the program and it has been very helpful for us all.
What's great about it: Uses info from last years return to spped up completing forms. Calculates taxes for you, no tables to review.
What's not so great: Still didn't get a refund, but that's not the programs fault.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

For the last three years the other state tax return will go on my return when I prepared the other state return for my children. I have not been able to get my return accepted and the details of the problem are not accurate because I have done what it asked and the review shows no problems and then it is rejected for the same issue. Tax number ID not accepted. How do I talk to a real person on this?

Great value and easy to use. Provides good guidance with helpful suggestions. Easy to use e-file. Have been a user for more than two decades.
What's great about it: Easy to use, great guided steps, helpful suggestions, easy to file.
What's not so great: Does not provide a back rub while sitting at the computer.

Funtional

While TruboTax is great and wonderful to use (have used it for the last 20 years), it jumped the investment/interest income sections which was frustrating for me. I had to go back and re enter all the information that didn't import from Quicken. Apart from that problem of skipping sections, I highly recommend it.
What's great about it: Easy to use, quick and detailed
What's not so great: It jump several important sections that I had to go back to fill in.

My taxes

This program has improved so much that is nice to do your own tax. I will continue using it. Need more attention to loading time. I would strongly recommended to any one who want to save on their taxes. The features are so easy and helpful to follow.
What's great about it: very simple.
What's not so great: loading time.

Finished

Glad to be finished, 21th year of using TTax. Never had any big problems or issues with completing the forms or filing return. Really like being able to save the return as a .pdf; this sure beats printing a ream of paper and/or an hour in front of the copy machine.
What's great about it: Consistancy of all Fed questions
What's not so great: Massachusetts return had little help/explanation
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I'm DONE...FAST!!

I really enjoyed doing my taxes, which is weird to say because normally its a mess!! even just doing the 1040ez. I think the step by step made it easier, and guide me along. It was as easy as answering questions. The only thing I got lost on was going to print my taxes sheets and it steered me away from the filing page, but I have to say everything went smooth. The only thing to was I had to pay more to file my state taxes even after buying the turbo tax.
What's great about it: questions guided me through
What's not so great: paying more to file state
