Like An Old Friend

I've been using TurboTax for more than five years. During that time, there have been changes in my income, work status, health and personal life that affected my tax liabilities. And this program has come through for me every time. It saves me paperwork, time and stress. One year I bought a flawed disc (It had a hairline crack), and a call to their customer service got me a replacement download with no problem, and no charge.
What's great about it: Ease Of Use

painfull, took 6 hours for a simple return, and they make it difficult to submit a review.

will continue to use turbo tax.
What's great about it: As always functional and easy, well plotted.
What's not so great: update problems, blamned on connectivity but appears to host issues.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Complicated taxes with house sale, move, another move, and all kinds of stuff. Got through it amazingly painlessly. My tenth year of Turbo Tax

Why the hassle?

I prefer to do "what if?" changes to test the impact upon my return, but, do not want those changes to be saved.
Also, when starting up, TurboTax asks: OK to update software? and it will not let you proceed, unless you say, "OK" -- once I have filed my return, I do not want always want software update. Get it?
What's great about it: Fair price
What's not so great: Saves changes, without asking, and updates software,even after return has been filed,and will not let you prevent this.
