What's not so great: If you have a question the Turbo Tax on hold wait time is very long
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Not as good as previous versions

Mac Book Pro with OS10.11 (previously used both mac and widows versions)
Previous years I was able to open forms in a separate window to check on something without loosing my place in easy-step. Now I had to repeat the section.
When I changed a temporary value I had entered as a place keeper I had to edit to the form rather than re-entering the value in easy-step.
Couldn't print form 1040-V correctly, empty boxes instead of name and address
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use, but not as intuitive as previous versions.
What's not so great: Exiting easy step and returning have to start section over. window didn't adjust to screen resolution.

Trusted Tax Software!

I don't like doing our taxes, but I do like TurboTax. It makes it almost painless. I've used it for at least 11 years. I like it and I trust it.
I would like to be able to print a schedule of the tax calculation itself, by tax bracket; it's just not shown anywhere; that's the only thing I print up in a spreadsheet.
I would also like a big, clear list of what forms or work-papers are going to print; the given options are okay, but I end up tossing paper that we don't really need (such as quarterly tax payments).

What's great about it: Steps you through all parts of the tax return.
What's not so great: Print options could be more robust.

Started SS while Working

I miss the ability to re-figure the federal deductions from my paycheck that I had access to in earlier years. Otherwise the program completely did my taxes correctly and efficiently. I have used the program for decades and won't change. Kids and grandson use use my copy. My daughter now has bought her own copy of TurboTax.
What's great about it: T Tax did all the calculation correctly
What's not so great: Miss the W4 calculation from previous years

I Loved T-tax for 20 years but....

Required me to file multiple K-1s because the one I Received had amounts in box 1 "Ordinary Income" and in box 2 "Rental Income" Also, in box 16 in would not allow me to put in amounts for D Passive Income and E General Income. Again, suggestion was to input another k-1
