Amazing and don't know why I didn't do it myself sooner.
What's great about it: walked me through each category
What's not so great: on errors i wished it would take you exactly back to where the error is.

Makes my life easier

it took me 5 hours the first year I used Turbo Tax. this year, year 10, it took me maybe 3 hours. and that includes prepping paperwork, gathering receipts and adding everything up, and a couple breaks.
I do my husband and my joint taxes, my daughter's refund EZ taxes and my fathers complicated taxes using the same program.
Federal and State.

What's great about it: it is easy to follow, gets easier every year. adds your info from the previeous year and remembers your demographics.
What's not so great: have to buy a new one every year, can't just update online.

Have used Turbo Tax for a number of years and it's one of the better and easy programs to use.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: Takes to long to download changes and updates.

Vehicle registration fees listed on Federal itemized deductions transfer over to the state you select. I live in one state but register my vehicle in another (tax purposes). The program doesn't allow for an adjustment to the non-registered state on their itemized deduction sheet.
What's great about it: Very intuititive process, minimal problems
What's not so great: state vehicle registration - I live in one state but vehicles are registered in another state.

This method takes a bit of time if you itemize, but it's better than sitting in someone else's chair. Still the best thing out there for the average homeowner!

Love the product, have purchase every year for the past 10 years.
My wife loves to review after I am done and I feel confident she won't find any issues with the products guide me questions. I feel I should charge her for my work.
