i tried numerous times to update turbo tax but it wouldn't load,

the software deftly handles the easy stuff. The form1065 K-1 debacle left a bad taste in my mouth. It is incorrect and took a lot of work to correct.
What's great about it: Better than by hand
What's not so great: Hideous handling of multi-income K-1

This drives me nuts!

I love how easy Turbo Tax makes it feel doing your taxes. If I have all my forms, it reminds me as I go thru the process what forms mi still might need to find (donations etc.) At the same time, I got very tired of scrolling to the bottom of each and every page to find the continue button. The task bar at the bottom of my computer kept getting in the way. It also made printing challenging (Windows 10). I also disliked that the very first screen showed up every time asking me to fill it out...really??? How many times did you expect me to tell you where I purchased turbo tax and where I live etc.
What's great about it: Easy organized way to get taxes done
What's not so great: Constant scrolling to answer questions/redoing initial screen
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The format appeared to be very comprehensive which gave me confidence as I completed the entries. Had difficulty dumping 2014 Turbo information to the Turbo 2015 format, entered first section about personal information by typing information.

The Deluxe version covered my needs

I did not own rental property nor did I sell any stocks and bonds. Therefore the Deluxe version covered my needs. I was also able to file additional returns for my teenage children at no additional cost.
What's great about it: Asked the right questions, allowed me to go back and review and edit previous entries
What's not so great: I cannot think of any at this point

Need a new computer every few years to run newer supporting OS software just to use Turbo Tax
