a helpful step by step program

What's great about it: walks you through items step by step in an organized fashion, and gives you tips along the way.
What's not so great: some questions are a little hard to understand, and some questions are repeated a few times.

Easy to use!

When people ask me how I did my taxes I tell them Turbo Tax. people who know TT, know that I had no problems.
What's great about it: Makes doing taxes easy for a guy with no tax skills.
What's not so great: Cant think of any.

Did not transfer from previous filing

While everything turned out fine, the information from TT2014 did not transfer to TT2015. When I located the TT2014 file as suggested, it keeps on asking me for a password (I have a TT2014 password on my cellphone) but keeps on recycling the request until I finally gave up and entered my information manually. Wonder what TT2016's surprise will be?

Over 15 years of using Turbo Tax. It would be nice to have the state included with the Deluxe, but state's online filing is straight forward with the Turbo Federal so not really needed.
I would like to be able to enter the K1 form (trust) information and have the Form 1116 automatically fill out. Each year I need to go into the forms section to make things work. Admittedly it may be user error issue rather than turbo tax (however my CPA Brother-In-Law also needs to do the same thing). Like the downloads for W-2's and participating brokers. Turbo Tax is a very good product.

where did it go?

Working on a newer laptop with upgraded windows. With every save the desktop appeared and I had to go looking for my return.
When using a link for additional information it hide behind the desktop and would only open if I did a right mouse click and selected maximize - most annoying!
What's great about it: Easy to file federal return
What's not so great: State return went so quick - I hope I didn't miss anything
