EZ Deal

Very satisfied with my experience. Directions were easy, path was straightforward. Took about 3 hours (including install) to complete my returns. Frustration levels (kicking, screaming, cussing) at an all-time low. Will continue using TurboTax for as long as it is this easy to operate.
What's great about it: Quickly transferred info from last year's return; easy-to-follow instructions (mostly);
What's not so great: can't think of any

So simple I wished I had used Turbo-Tax years ago. I highly recommend to everybody. I glided right through itemizing expenses, and the oh so many other deductions. Five stars from me!!!!

I have used Turbo Tax now for at least 10yrs. I will continue to do so. This Program makes it easy to do my taxes.

Turbo Tax is a time saver & time is money

I really like that the top banner shows a running total of your refund. However, when I entered a taxable IRA distribution AND the amount that I had withheld, that running total did not reflect the amount that I had withheld and it almost gave me a heart attack. I was worried that Turbo Tax somehow missed my withholding...until I got to the end and saw it was included in the total amount withheld. I should've known that Turbo Tax would not miss that. O me of little faith.
What's great about it: there's no filling out reduntant forms and instructions are clear

Under Charitable Deduction, you used to be able to add items not listed in "deduct it" for each charity in one page. Now you have to select "I'll value it" (or whatever) for every item and go thru the whole thing time after time. I had one charity with over 12 items. Do you have any idea how longs it takes when most of the info duplicated over and over. Also, you should be able to print the e-file transmission page. The printing of your return at the end is rather cumbersome. There should be a straight print-not the print center stuff. To get to that you have to leave turbo tax. That I don't like. The general program works well, but there are a lot of places your programmers have to put on their customer caps and forget they are code writers.
