Easy Process

I've used Turbo Tax for almost a decade. Always a pretty quick process.
What's great about it: Step-by-step instructions
What's not so great: No zoom option
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall, worked great. I would like it to be a little more interactive with direct links to IRS publications.
What's great about it: Most forms included
What's not so great: Not as interactive as it ws a few years ago

2015 frustration using turbo tax

First year I have had an issue with turbo tax in over a decade. Program locked up requiring reboots constantly, looks like it happens when using the back function a lot. Also gave generic explanations of issues (i.e. couldn't efile state due to withholding from another source), turbo tax did not identify the source, and I couldn't find it, very frustrating. Help feature is very poor. May have to look for a different tax program if this is the future for turbo tax.
What's great about it: convenient
What's not so great: Could not efile state forms generic explanation why so no way to resolve. Program locked up continuously.

Fee for e-filing state return should be include in cost, or at the very least shown as an additional cost when purchasing the state return.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Not all fees are listed up front

Painless Tax Return

As long as you have the paperwork - w2's etc. this is the easiest way to file. Turbo Tax walks you thru the entire process and checks for errors and red flags. Been using it for years and never had a problem with it. It makes tax filing as painless as it can be.
This version comes with both Federal and State, however, you are charged for state filing. Federal is free to file.
What's great about it: walks me thru the process
What's not so great: having to pay to file state taxes.

I've used this product for a lot of years and it is very easy to use and navigate. Whether you choose the automatic guide or individual selection, easy questions and very good knowledge base for understanding the question.
What's great about it: Very intuitive and easy to navigate.
What's not so great: Can't really think of any.

Just keeps getting better!
What's great about it: Fast and easy to enter information. You can always go back and change it.
What's not so great: Detail form sometimes accidentally deletes information on lines.
