Turbo tax great personal software

Hooked on Turbotax

I switched from Taxcut a number of years ago to Turbotax. Its very easy to follow. I will continue to use it for years to come.
What's great about it: Easy to follow.
What's not so great: None.

TurboTax 2016 Good but Could be Better

See pros above. This is a good product. There seemed to be changes in the 2015 product that were not helpful. Specifically, I do a Schedule C-EZ for a sole proprietorship. This year's interface was different and somewhat challenging because, after entering 1099 Misc and then entering "Other Income" I could not go back and review / re-do / edit the other income. I actually did my return twice this year to fix errors that I couldn't find or undo the first time. Made a big difference in my tax bill.
What's great about it: As always, the interview format is very helpful. In my 23 years with TTax I've been largely happy
What's not so great: Business income entry was less intuitive and seemed buggy

Problems with additional information requested at the last stage before transmitting and Turbo TAx did not do a good job of showing me what needed to be fixed. Very Frustrating HR block is my choice for next year
What's great about it: WorKed like a dream until last minute questions derail the enire filing process
What's not so great: Difficult entry fro 1099-Mis
