EVERYONE Should Be Using TurboTax

Unless you have a very complicated tax return, I do not understand why everyone isn't using TurboTax!
This is the best product ever! Whether you own a home, have a business, or are (or have) a student, it walks you through your return is an easy to understand manner. Takes all the stress out of tax season. A serious winner in my book.
What's great about it: Easy to use step-by-step instructions. You don't have to know about taxes, you just have to know about your life.
What's not so great: Have not found any cons yet and I've been using TurboTax for years.

I have no offshore bank accounts and am just a regular tax paying citizen not a multi-millionaire or tycoon. Used for the past 6 years. Will continue to use.

Had to re enter all personal info and such as addresses of charitable organizations....which should have been brought forward from 2014 and then asked "here are the organizations you donated to last year....please add, delete, or correct as needed." Also all the compartive prior years figures are a big help for quality and auditing purposes. In prior years Turbo Tax Deluxe did bring forward the prior year numbers, so don't know what changed in 2015. Would appreciate feedback on this.
What's not so great: Did not bring forward any comparitive or prior info from the 2014 turbo tax returns.

TurboTax is intuitive

Fast and intuitive (from Intuit) It has almost every needed form
What's great about it: Sub menues to add up tax information
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easier money than working at my job!

TurboTax has helped me do my taxes for the last 3 years now, and it just seems to get better and easier to work with every year! I have never had a major issue with turbo tax, and each year I get an amazing refund with using their system over the competition's. Thank you TurboTax!
What's great about it: easy, understandable, quick, fast, big refund, options, helpful, every time

17 years of ease and counting

I've been able to do relatively complex things (home businesses, tax planning) which is always a lot less expensive than a CPA. It's always good to be able to import previous returns, which significantly shortens the process. Very happy that I can import financial information (W-2s, investment info) directly into TT.
What's great about it: Complete capabilities for most levels of tax refunds
What's not so great: Updates can sometimes take longer than I'd like, charging for taking state/federal money owed out of the other return
Pros: I bought or sold investments
