Always a great experience, refund or no refund

Good except for printing

For the most part, I like Turbo Tax and have used it for many years. I like the ease of having prior year information readily available, of filling in the information and not having to worry about addition errors.
However, I would dearly love to have a "FIND" not just for finding answers to questions online but to quickly locate information on my return when I'm not sure what section it is in.
Also, I would love to be able to print the specific page I'm working on (so I can remember exactly what information I need to obtain to continue or to ask my spouse to get his information0 without having to use the computer's 'print screen' function.

2015 Done

A good, thorough program that is easy to use. It handles most areas very well and in sufficient detail, but the problem I see is that the more technical issues lack quality information and instructions.
What's great about it: W-2 and investment download is great.
What's not so great: inability to e-file non-resident return for NY.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

The Edit box disturbs me

I find the use of the term "Edit" on all recurring entries (particularly in Charities) to be misleading. The term should indicate that new data is required and not that old data should be edited. "Update" would be good, but "2015 data" would be better. The user is not "editing" something, when he or she is entering values where none has existed before.
Definition of editing is: "prepare (written material) for publication by correcting, condensing, or otherwise modifying it."
This is BAD User Interface.
What's great about it: I got through with a minimum of hassle
What's not so great: A surprise. What the heck is the de minimum page for? I didn't not any flag or link to explain this during the operatio.

Good product gone bad

This product has historically been excellent. This year's version included "enhancements" which have slowed it very nearly to the point of unusability. I am running an older machine, but whatever features were added did nothing to add value to the program. They have agitated a loyal customer, though. I will definitely evaluate other platforms next year.
What's great about it: Still does what it should, file your taxes
What's not so great: Incredibly slow execution

So much easier

I really like using it because I do have to add other forms that aren't common and the software makes it easy to figure out. Less stress for me.
What's great about it: I don't have to search for the right forms or worry that I forgot a form.
What's not so great: None that I can think of.

So fast and easy!

I got through both federal and state returns in about one hour, including time to check online for terms I didn't understand, and to figure out the tax statements from my brokerage. Why would anyone choose to pay a tax service or to struggle along themselves when TurboTax is available at such a low cost?!
