Many years of solid Performance

Countless years of using this product and I continue to be amazed at how accurate and the easy it is to confident work your way through all the different tax issue's one can have.

Get the Max!

I've used turbo tax for years. But this year I am using it for a home/office and it worked OK. I got stuck in one section trying to add a computer to the home office and added it too early and it took some finagling to try and get it out. Eventually I did.
What's great about it: THis does walk you through each and every step which is nice!!
What's not so great: Cost of Turbo tax should be stated up front not at the end. Stop hiding the cost!!

tool for the job

Once i performed tax computations with paper, calculator, pencil. was good at it too! Turbo tax opened up the tax world where now i have a comprehensive understanding of income and deductions.
What's great about it: software provides a convenience for viewing different tax reporting senerios
What's not so great: cost

Good Stuff

I used Kiplinger tax product before, but no more, once I discovered TurboTax. Thank you for another great year's product!
What's great about it: Able to perform overseas federal exemption
What's not so great: none

Always amazing!

Years ago I had the opportunity to use my partner's business tax advisor to do my returns for free. When I got them back, I went over them and found lots of errors. The next year, the same thing happened. The third time, I was done with tax advisors and bought my first Turbo Tax.
It was awesome. So easy to use, so much information given that was easy to understand, I was sold.
However, a few years ago, money was tight, so I bought the cheaper H and R Block software.
Nightmare. Complete nightmare. I can't put into words how awful it was.
I'll never leave turbotax again!
If there was just a way to get free state e filing...hmmm?
It was awesome. So easy to use, so much information given that was easy to understand, I was sold.

First time user and pretty straight forward. Did not take a lot of time and had option to print or save tax paperwork.
Only real issue was I had to contact TurboTax support line due problem processing TurboTax state filing fee. Appears that you should not check box for "Save My Information". Just to be clear this was not an actual tax filing issue but a web problem.
What's great about it: Straight forward
What's not so great: Web Site Issue Processing State filing fee

Best self-file software

I've been using Turbo Tax for several years. It is very easy to use and comprehensive. I really like the comparison of tax years - really helps to see how our taxes are trending.
What's great about it: Program is very intuitive
What's not so great: No Schedule C income to report in 2015 but the program would keep going back to update entries because there was income
