Getting started is harder each year. I load then there seems to be a lot of work getting it to my remote drive. I should be able to easily pick the location.
It couldn't perform my state return at first, but worked fine the second time.
What's great about it: Easy flow
What's not so great: Hard setting up and apple issues

Keeps getting better every year! Highly Recommend TurboTax.
What's great about it: Gather your data such as W-2's and 1099's is the hard part. Following the step by step process in TurboTax is a breeze!
What's not so great: once you're finished there are still several screens you must go through.

Great but some improvements

Overall, Turbo tax is great. Probably the bestseller in MI. should put in the max credit/refund allowed, per tax topic, as we work through it. 2 years ago, Turbox tax also did not specify what HDHP is for the HSA. We thought it was not our case, and probably lost at least $400, because of that.
What's great about it: Turbo tax is great. But so far, it's the only tax SW we've used. It seems to maximize our tax returns
What's not so great: Turbo tax got frozen many times when I put in my daughter tuition and student status. And put in the max allowed per topi

This customer did not provide a text review.
What's not so great: We purchased the Deluxe Files so we could file our State tax form. The form failed to download.

Turbo tax has always gotten me the best refunds possible, saved me a ton of money, and always does my taxes better than I can. I've tried doing them on paper, thinking I knew better, but then, when I put the numbers into TT, they ALWAYS do a better job!
What's great about it: Easy, quick, affordable
What's not so great: State efile price

Potentially an Unmitigated Disaster

I used TurboTax Deluxe. Entering/importing my personal information from last year was a breeze as usual. The Deductions section was not. Virtually every section for Schedule A had screens, which needed to be filled in, flash by. In order to enter the information, I had to click the "Back" button at least once to get to the right screen so I could enter the information. What should have taken a few hours actually took over two days to complete. Importing from It's Deductible was also a joy. Over the course of a year, I donated a number of books and specific items of clothing, using the values in that program. TurboTax Deluxe combined the 12-months' totals under the first date those items were entered, making it seem that I had inflated the number of items, value, etc., and requiring explanations of same. Nowhere in the tax program's dropdown menus was I given the opportunity to say that the value of an individual item was that assigned by It's Deductible. VERY frustrating.
I have use dTurboTax for roughly 20 years. Whether I use ANY TurboTax product next year is highly doubtful. I am shocked and appalled by the unnecessary difficulties I endured with the Tax Year 2015 iteration.
What's great about it: I didn't have to physically fill in the forms, my PC did
What's not so great: Almost every necessary screen for Schedule A was passed over by the program
