Super easy

I have been using TurboTax for my taxes for about 7 years now. I have always found it easy to follow and simple to use. Each year, it finds my information from the past year, so I don't have to take the time to fill basic information, as well as my past employers, deductions and banks. It makes things go much quicker.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions, with hints that eliminate confusion

Worked Great!

First time using TurboTax. Have used HR Block software for many years. Decided to try TT this year. Overall worked very well. Good format. Easy to follow. Did require too much manual entry of prior year data since it did not auto load from last years return completely. I'll probably use it again.
What's great about it: Overall easy to use. Good Q&A format. Easy to dollow.
What's not so great: Didn't load all info from previous year's return done with HR Block software. Required too much manual reentry of data

Great Tax Software

I have used TurboTax for a very long time. It's very easy to use and I think it's virtually mistake proof if you're organized and pay attention what you're doing.
What's great about it: easy to use; virtually mistake proof

Another year, another return

Given we own the home outright, and the kids have left for greener pastures, I could probably do my taxes manually or using free services. However, TurboTax does walk you through everything and it is a safety net to make sure everything is covered.
The cost disparity between the on-line sales and the local warehouse stores is interesting in that it is cheaper to buy the product locally rather than download a copy on-line.
The review process requires a unique "Nickname" to file a review. It's come to the point of inventing a nonsensical Nickname in order to file a review. Either it was not well thought out, or Intuit does not want reviews.
I hope the hamster running this website #anyone who had done a review should have seen that disclaimer from Intuit# is as well taken care of as the Turbo Tax customers.
What's great about it: Simple, easy, Not at all complicated.
What's not so great: Cost disparity between local stores and on-line sales. Review confusion
