Program malfunction

Previously you could add explanation to each line to store data such as business percentage on expense items. This establishes consistency from year to year on the two mortgage interests well as the tax entries.
The insurance line did bring the figures to Schedule F. I have to use business % on some insurance costs.
Also Schedule F line 21 a and b would not bring totals from "Explain" notes back to Schedule F. I had to add the figures to the misc. line manually. The "help" instructions did not work.
I have filed successfully. I use a iMAC desktop with 10.11.4 version of El Capitan.
Annoying feature of program is having to agree to looking for update when you want to bring up return to check an item or grab an image for this review. I give up - now TT will not show the tax return I filed this morning in Open Recent. It only wants me to open new or amend.
What's great about it: Love that form feature rather than easy method
What's not so great: Schedule F changes & malfunction

I had a hard time yesterday getting the return to send. It went out this morning,. I realize it is probably easy for the younger set to do the work. We went to H&R block the last tow years but it got to expensive so we came back to turbo tax. But it was a bit of a hassle. If you could find a way to make it easier for old farts it sure would be nice
What's great about it: it was fairly easy to use
What's not so great: It is a little hard for us old folks to use plus why did I have to pay for audit protection? there was no way to not pay

Fast and Easy. First time success!

This was my first time doing taxes on my own. I managed to get them done quickly in the very little spare time I had away from my little one! I will using TurboTax again!
What's great about it: Walked you through step by step
What's not so great: Nothing!

Form 8949 did not appear as expected, required a search.

Have used this package for several years and it is must simpler than doing it by hand.
What's great about it: Very simple to use.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
