when going thru the steps and e-filing federal returns, it did not give you an option to print and file your state returns. you have to print copies of everything a couple times, one for your files and another just to send to the state, which is everything, not just the state. it worked for my 2 kids, but not for my 3rd kid.
What's not so great: no option to not efile

Always easy to use every year. Looking forward to TurboTax's help in filing taxes with property ownership for 2016 tax year.
What's great about it: Easy to understand explanations of IRS tax terms.
What's not so great: Bundled deals for E-File and Audit Protection for TurboTax purchases?

When I get ready to file my taxes the hardest part is gathering the necessary forms. I run my turbo tax list and use it to check that I have all the necessary documents. If one is missing I can dig into that file to see if maybe we sold that during the year of I need to find it. This has continually streamlined my efforts to today when I did my taxes in one day, first time EVER!
What's great about it: The year to year comparisons are very helpful
What's not so great: Taxes in general
Pros: I bought or sold investments

What's not so great: i lost changes to file, i think because I assumed the file was being saved as i moved from step to step. it wasn't!
