Got maximum deductions, was so easy and intuitive to use and finished my and filed my taxes (state and federal) in an afternoon. Recommending TurboTax to everyone!

Used this for years!

I used another software package one year because it was "cheaper" and linked to one of the "professional" tax preparers but was so unhappy that I still bought TurboTax to double-check. TurboTax is so easy, especially if you used it in the past and everything is automatically imported.
Filing taxes for two states is a breeze with TurboTax because it takes the allocation process out of my hands and eliminates my math errors!

Love Turbo Tax

Easily prepared my taxes in under 2 hours. points out possible errors and walks you through each section. Love it!
What's great about it: Easy, user friendly. no need to pay someone when you can self prepare. Nice!

This was my 6th year using TurboTax. I believe entering the data was much easier this year. HOWEVER, it took two weeks, multiple tries and almost a nervous breakdown to get the actual filing done. This has always been easy in the past.
What's great about it: Entering info was easy

CD Rom crashes on all updates but Itsdeductable +

The system crashed every time I tried entering the program and was willing to have it check for updates. It did the same thing prior to filing, where it asked to update. It would take 4-5 cycles of crashing before the update would completely load. I did like that you could click on the contact and they would have someone call you back. The person I spoke to was very nice, but as noted above, because I was on my 5th cycle of crashing today it finished its update so there was nothing to fix. I am finishing the return today so I don't have to deal with this again. Probably will chose other software next year because of this problem.
The Itsdeductable was really good as I had a lot of clothing donations this year.

What's not so great: would have liked more info on charities and what is allowed

I heard some of my other friends had some other problems also....
What's not so great: Printing a copy for my own records was no good at all. I wasted 57 pages of expensive paper
