Easy to Use

Turbo Tax is a great product - it only took me about 8 hours to get me return finished. I own a small business so this was decent.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: Not many

Me Do It!

The day will come when I only need to prepare one set of taxes, but until then, it was helpful to be able to prepare more than one by purchasing only one CD.
When saving my work and then coming back to work on my forms, sometimes it was tedious to reenter information I thought had already been covered.
I do like being able to flip to the various forms that are used to see how the data is being entered.
Felt confident that the taxes were being calculated correctly. I like the running total that shows the impact of entering the data.
Had to purchase a state tax program at the last minute, rather than buying it at the time of original purchase. It was much more expensive than if I had bought the package bundled in the first place. This seems very unfair to the consumer.

Great Software - Given Complexity of Tax Code

Had assembled most of the paperwork needed before starting. Took me about 5 straight hours to prepare personal Federal and Colorado Returns.
I did print out all forms and marked any questionable items. Was able to resolve them in about 30 minutes.
What's great about it: Simple easy to follow wizards to guide you through each step. Good help resources for most questions.
What's not so great: Suggestions to make 2015 IRA contribution flawed. Made contribution, then found out it was not deductible.

Did me well

Love this program. I use it every year, even though i absolutely hate doing taxes. It walks me step by step and helps me make sure i have everything i can use in here to pay the least amount possible. I even got a state refund this year, which i have not gotten in several years.
What's great about it: helped me to understand what i could use

Shew, finished filing! Turbo corrected my error!

Filed the first time but I claimed my daughter who had already filed (I didn't know this) so I was rejected. Turbo Tax immediately sent back comments pointing out what was wrong and took me to the forms to easily correct them. It was a relief getting the instant information and being able to refile with no additional charge. Thank you, Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Being able to walk-thru or pick and choose!
What's not so great: Sometimes I got turnaround...

Quick and Easy like Peach Cobbler
