PERFECT !

This is my sixth year using TurboTax and I think it was the Best Yet. I particularly like all the fact that TurboTax will import data from previous returns and populate data from the Federal to State returns. My taxes are complicated due to investment income but TurboTax makes handling those things a snap and reduces the "time to file" by a bunch!
What's great about it: Easy and Accurate
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I have used TurboTax for several years now. I love how it walks me through everything so even if I have forgotten something, it helps remind me of what is needed. I will keep using TurboTax as long as it is offered.
What's great about it: I like how TurboTax walks you through everything, even if you didn't need it. It helped with a higher refund.
What's not so great: Everytime you log in it takes time to upgrade, this needs to be done automatically.

Turbo Tax is a wonderful product -- and this assessment is coming from a person who has an aversion to this kind of software. Turbo Tax asks very specific questions and guides you through the process of completing and submitting your taxes with such ease. Rather than have you complete myriad and complex tax forms, Turbo Tax provides an easily accessible 'survey'. With short and clear questions, Turbo Tax helps you determine what income you should report and what deductions you qualify for. It even aids in calculating things like depreciation for a home office! Then, after you answer the 'survey' questions, Turbo Tax translates your answers onto the necessary tax forms. So, you don't even have to know what forms you need. Turbo Tax figures this out for you! I have been using Turbo Tax for years and highly recommend it. Note: I use the Deluxe version and this is more than sufficient for investment income and self-employment -- and it includes your state tax returns.
What's great about it: Gives clear instructions. Asks clear questions and determines whether specific deductions are available.
What's not so great: None that I can determine -

Smoother this year

When you go back to make a change on an income or deduction, then getting back to where you left off in tedious. You have to go through all the questions that were already answered. You just can't jump to where you left off.
Other than that it went real smooth this year.
What's great about it: Much easier to jump back and forth without getting lost
What's not so great: Backing up to make a change, then moving to the end of that deduction
