too many extra charges, look at last years return, audit support etc etc
What's great about it: step by step is helpful
What's not so great: does not connect to previous years tax returns done on Turbotax

Excellent product. makes filing taxes painless!

I've been using Turbo Tax for years now. It makes filing taxes so easy and simple, and much cheaper than using a CPA. We've got a mortgage, kids, both of us work, etc., so our return isn't super complicated, but it's also not that simple. Turbo Tax walks you through all of the steps for income and deductions in a simple, easy to use format. It's very intuitive, especially saving forms and coming back to them a few days / weeks later- it's really simple to pick up where you left off.
What's great about it: Easy walk through of all facets of taxes- income, deductions, etc.
What's not so great: Saving and going back to an area made you walk through whole area
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used multiple tax software's this year and by far turbotax is the most expensive especially on state downloads and filing fees. Unless Turbotax reduces this next year I will use other software.
What's great about it: Ease of filing return
What's not so great: Overly expensive state downloads and filing fees.

K-1 Selling is not straightforward and kept getting error on Foreign Income on "individual level" that was no way to fix other than eliminating $. Saw that this was issue in 2014 and obviously was not fixed.
What's great about it: Mostly easy to use
What's not so great: K-1 submittal information is very confusing and it would be nice if could attach pdf of 1099-B to Returns
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

IRRITATING AT BEST

I E-FILED MY FED BUT IT KEPT TRYING TO FORCE ME TO E=FILE MY STATE FOR $$$$ EVERYTIME I TRIED TO PRINT TO MAIL IT WOULD NOT LET ME AND KEPT GOING BACK TO E-FILE? TOTAL PAIN IN THE DERRIERE!!!!

Each time I opened TT to add data, of course I checked "save file" and each time an additional icon appeared on my desktop.
Now about twelve of them. Nice logo, but hope to delete them now that I am filed - hope I delete ONLY the icon.

Tax preparers ask the same questions as Turbo Tax .... I wonder if they are using Turbo Tax too !
What's great about it: Keeps track of refunds/amt due/owed as U go
