Could be easier to jump in and out of previous locations in the software to correct/revisit.
What's great about it: Smooth
What's not so great: bookmarking locations in TurboTax could be better.

TurboTax Experience

Overall great experience. Only drawback was difficulty in figuring out how to deduct 529 college saving plan contributions. I had to Google to find out how. I was not prompted for it even though we have done that for all of the years we have used TurboTax.
What's great about it: Step by step process and prompting makes filing taxes so easy
What's not so great: This year, figuring out how to deduct 529 contributions was difficult

Never had an Issue

Everyone wants to get their refund, (if they're owed one), as soon as possible. No matter how early you complete your tax returns, you shouldn't file them, in my opinion, until the week prior to the deadline. When you're ready to file, make sure you use the Update Turbo Tax feature one last time, then you can be certain that any issues will have already been addressed and updated. You can then file your returns with confidence. I've done it this way with some fairly complicated returns and have never had a problem.
What's great about it: Easy to use, can go back and make changes as needed
What's not so great: None that I can think of

No Brainer

I've used Turbo Tax for years. I love it! It is so easy and walks you through everything. Even if I have something different from the previous year on my return, I always am confident that this software will point me in the right direction. Never had a problem with Turbo Tax and highly recommend it!

Dont like paying for state

I had all my material ready and it walked me through seamlessly. Just annoying when you have to pay for state.

Still believe there is an error

I found another person who agrees that there seems to be an error with insurance premiums for self employed, profitable S-Corp owner. TT wants to push the premiums to Schedule A instead of Line 29 when entering under "other situations." They should be line item deductible if you are profitable.
What's great about it: led you through easily but you could jump to a spot if necessary
What's not so great: believe there is an error

So Easy Even a 60 Year Old Can Do It!!!!!

We have used Turbo for at least 6 years with great appreciation each time! The input is simple, the time to complete is minimal and the leading questions asked really clarified what we needed to do next! The value we have found over going to the tax prep places, is extreme in both time and process. Thank you so much for providing this excellent product!
What's great about it: ease of understanding, imput methods very simple, clarification for questions on-hand with quick access during process
